Bye Bye 000Webhost! We Will Miss You

I really enjoyed 000Wehbost services as one of the free web hosting providers I have been using. It is so sad that the 17 year old provider is shutting down its operations come October 14 thus leaving a gap that can never be filled when it comes to free hosting.

According to the email I personally received as a user, starting from July 8, we will no longer accept new registrations or allow the creation of new websites on our free hosting platform. The final closure date for all existing free hosting services is scheduled for October 14.

We’re writing to inform you that 000webhost is shutting down its operations, and your website will become unavailable in 30 days. You can read more about this decision in this blog post.

Download a copy of your website before 2024-09-01 to make sure you don’t lose any data and take some time to decide what to do next.

Or, consider hosting your website at Hostinger for $1.00/month. Your website will be moved automatically.

After 17 years, 000webhost is shutting down its operations. The web hosting market has evolved, and consumer needs have shifted towards affordable, secure, and feature-rich paid hosting solutions. As a result, we have decided to focus our efforts on offering quality and affordable hosting.
The closure of our free hosting service will happen in stages: Starting from July 8, we will no longer accept new registrations or allow the creation of new websites on our free hosting platform. The final closure date for all existing free hosting services is scheduled for October 14.
During this period, we will notify all users via email about the upcoming closure. These notifications will also include special offers for our paid hosting plans.

What Will Happen to My 000webhost Website? If you do not migrate your data by the closure date, it will be permanently deleted and will not be recoverable. We strongly advise you to migrate or back up your data as soon as possible.
