A new feature by Gmail known as Shielded Email has been leaked. If the leak is turned active, this will add Gmail to the long list of disposable email providers. The shielded email feature according to preview allows one to create alias email addresses that can be used during online sign up forms without providing ones real email address.
The shielded email feature which is similar to Apples Hide My Email that was launched way back in 2021 is intended to help prevent spam which usually happens when people sign up and start receiving unsolicited email messages from different providers including those they never signed up.
If you didn’t know the importance of disposable email address, let me briefly take you through what you will expect once Gmail’s new shielded email feature is officially launched.
· You will be able to create random addresses
· You will be able to keep your real safe on sign up sites
· You will be able to prevent unsolicited spam messages.
The feature will be located under Google Setting.
